Bombus sp., male - Bombus bimaculatus - male

Bombus sp., male - Bombus bimaculatus - Male
Great Smoky Mtns Nat'l Park, Blount County, Tennessee, USA
June 17, 2021
Size: about 15-16 mm length
No jugal lobe, 13 antennal segments, flagellum right at 3X as long as scape, face with 90% yellow hairs, genal area appears slightly longer than wide, sides of thorax yellow. On Cornus amomum umbel. Used Williams, et al(2014) Bumble Bee Guide to ID; do not see hair pattern like this among male variations for any species, but closest matches appears to be Bombus vagans or B. perplexus. Appreciate any assistance !
