Beaded Lacewing - Lomamyia occidentalis

Beaded Lacewing - Lomamyia occidentalis
In Westwood by outdoor night light; elevation 5100ft, Lassen County, California, USA
July 9, 2021
Size: Body Length 10mm
Forewing length 13mm

Species Lomamyia occidentalis (Banks)

ID determined via photo and description in "Pacific Northwest Insects" 2018, by Merrill A. Peterson; pg 187. Pretty much an exact match with photo in this field guide. In L. occidentalis the front edge of forewing is mostly straight; whereas in similar species L. latipennis the front edge is mostly curved.

A new BugGuide species page is needed, if you trust me on this ID; or when confirmed by a real expert.
