I found this large caterpillar on my patio. Can it be IDed as to species?

Family Sphingidae - Sphinx Moths.

Some images of Ceratomia undulosa (Waved Sphinx) looked fairly close. Not real confident that's the one, though.

Thanks, I see your point, and some of the Waved Sphinx caterpllar photos are very similar to this one. However, nobody has reported this species to BG so far in Arizona. I'm sort of leaning to Sphinx chersis. Let's see if anybody else chimes in.
