Identification
A fairly small, brownish/grayish moth with a somewhat silky shine. There is a wavy antemedian line and a toothed postmedian line which curves. There are poorly defined blackish markings where the lines meet the costa and sometimes a blackish spot near the basal areas. The subterminal area is slightly darker than the rest of the forewing. The hindwings are very pale grey-brown, almost white.
Range
Alberta west to British Columbia, south to California.
Habitat
Montane meadows and open forests.
Season
Adults have been found from June to October.
