how can you tell
I went to Celastrina when Toni suggested it, but there were 3 or 4 that all look *very* similar. How does one tell? :)

 
range and date mostly
Butterfliesandmoths.org shows C. echo as the only species on the west coast.

Azure(Celastrina)
Looks alot like a summer azure(C. neglecta)
