Size: 11mm

Thanks Peter
Moved from Ground Beetles.

Pterostichus luctuosus
based on my microscopic examination of this specimen. Helpful traits are the iridescent elytra and a relatively mild constriction at base of pronotum ending in sharp angles. Separated from sibling species P. tenuis by shape of mentum tooth (not visible here). Thanks Tom.
