Ceresa -
Stictocephala taurina
Rural, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
July 4, 2007
This leafhopper jumped onto the shirt of my photo companion. Based on the patterns in the eye and comparing it to other images it appears to me it may be ceresa basalis, but it could be one of the others, so I'm looking for verification on this.
