Not a Giant Water Bug, but obviously related - Belostoma

Not a Giant Water Bug, but obviously related - Belostoma
Milan, Washtenaw County, Michigan, USA
October 15, 2021
Size: Just under 1 inch
Does anyone know what species of Water Bug this is? I can see that it is closely related to a Giant Water Bug, but this one isn't "giant", being less than 1 inch. We found it on a cool day sitting on our driveway in Michigan.

Cropped and moved for expert attention
Moved from ID Request.

It is a giant water bug. Some are just more "giant" than others. :)
