Moved from Pygmy Tiger Beetle.

Moved from Cicindela.

Could someone move this to the appropriate guide page please?

Could you specify size?
(I notice, from other posts, your predilection for using inches rather than metric units and am curious why, especially in view of your strong ties to Europe. Am I being too nosy?)

The ruler
next to my computer has only inches. But I'm just getting a metric one. Also - the photos are of life beetles. I still have to find a way to measure them quickly. Right now measurements will be posted when the beetles come out of the freezer.

That looks like Cicindela viridisticta to me. I find it very common in parts of SE Arizona. You can get dozens of them in one sweep of the net at Sonoita Creek.

I am trying
to find some material about it, or a bugguide page - nothing so far

Do you have a copy of the Pea
Do you have a copy of the Pearson field guide? It's extremely useful.
