Size: ~19 mm TL
According to record maps at MPG, Anicla espoetia is the only species within the genus, with this type of maculation, that is likely to be found in the Hill Country of Texas.

This moth also matches Fascicle 27.1 description of Texas Edwards Plateau species form on page 58 and Plate B, Fig. 33 of this same form.
