I agree this seems to be Eris
I agree this seems to be Eristalis obscura.

The cell before the humeral v
The cell before the humeral vein is quite dark for obscura but on second look not dark enough for dimidiata and the wing cloud is too pronounced for dimidiata. In image 2056918 right wing, there is a good view of the pterostigma and it looks too long and too distinctly black for obscura.
The R4+5 vein where it joins the R2+3 vein is thickened as in rupium (not in obscura) and the basal hind tarsi look black at least toward tip as is often the case in rupium. I agree it isn`t dimidiata but I think it could be rupium which can have the cell before humeral vein slightly darkened. I have sent it to Martin...
