Is this perhaps a juvenile cherry-faced meadowhawk or maybe a ruby meadowhawk? I know a top view would have been helpful... Thanks!

Don't know that a top view would help.
The face seems too light for a Cherry-faced, so more likely rubicundulum, but these just can't be reliably separated without a handlens, so we put them all together on one lumped guidepage.
