Size: 7.5 mm
Darkish hymenopteran, long antennae, black dot in distal part of wing, on Ericameria nauseosa flowers. Smoky afternoon, sunny, light breeze, 62 F to 69 F. Native grassland community south of the stream. Level area to gently sloping, one year post-fire, with Ericameria nauseosa, Artemisia cana, Liatris punctata, Agropyron spicatum, and Agropyron smithii.

Elevation ca 4000 feet. Disturbed riparian corridor on stream restoration site within a patchwork of native and non-native grassland.

Chelonus? Looks visually similar to this braconid collected on the same date.
