Identification
Female: Pale yellow, whitish beneath, slender. Head beneath and fore part of the pectus pure white. Palpi brown, porrect, short, moderately broad, white beneath; joints indistinct. Thorax slightly fawn-color in front. Abdomen extending very little beyond the hindwings. Legs smooth, slender. Wings elongate, semihyaline, very iridescent, whitish along the exterior border, this hue limited by a blackish diffuse line; interior and exterior lines brown, slight, mostly composed of minute dots. Forewings acute, with the exterior line much bent; orbicular and reniform marks brown, the former with another brown dot behind it. - Walker, 1859.
