Capraita
a species of Capraita. Don“t think it is in the guide yet. John Watts has keyed out several. Hope he sees it.

Most likely C. nigrosignata...
There are seven spp of Capraita in Texas
(
1
)
. Based on the photos here or on University websites elsewhere or by the specific epithet, I think it's safe to eliminate all but C. flavida [NM, TX] and C. nigrosignata [LA, TX / Mex].
Flav means yellow and nigrosignata means black marked
(
2
)
. While the background color is indeed yellow, it seems more likely that the specific name should call out the black spots, thus this beetle most likely is C. nigrosignata...

Upon further investigation...
C. nigrosignata hosts on:
Teucrium canadense L. - Canada germander
(

)
which is in abundance around my black light set up area...
