Is this a brown marmorated stink bug? It fits the description, except that the tail section is not rounded, so what is the structure that sticks out slightly?

Yes, looks like Halyomorpha halys, the structure at the end of the abdomen appears to be the male genitalia.

Well, at least he won't lay eggs, thanks! I thought it may be something like that, but I could not find any similar pictures.
