Spider wasp - orange wings with black tips - Liris partitus
Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA

Size: about 1/2 inch
Smaller than Pepsis - larger than Auplopus, but closer to Auplopus in size. Was energetically looking for prey, and I lost sight of it quickly before being able to get better photos.
