Fancy butt - Allograpta obliqua

Fancy butt - Allograpta obliqua
Ridgeway, Iowa County, Wisconsin, USA
July 27, 2020
Size: 5-9 mm
Before I knew the name hover or flower fly I called these Humpties (they did the humpty hump dance while they were on me). After research (here and on Insectidentification.org) I know the family but not the genus, tribe or species and am hoping someone with more experience can ID for me. If it helps this fly could bend a lot. thanks...
