Moved
Moved from Acalymma.

the colour of the abdomen is of importance
for further id (pale vs dark). It´s hard to tell from this angle

Added 2nd image w/ dark abdomen
Does this help? Thanks in advance, Mike

Acalymma vittatum
the common Acalymma vitatum has a dark abdomen versus the pale abdomen of otherwise similar A. gouldi. Compare with other pictures in the guide to be sure (there is also one A. gouldi somewhere among the vittatum pictures). There could maybe be additional species in Texas, but I don´t think it very likely to be something else than A. vittatum
