Red-banded Hairstreak? - Calycopis cecrops

Red-banded Hairstreak? - Calycopis cecrops
Georgetown, Floyd County, Indiana, USA
July 28, 2008
Size: 1/2-5/8 inch
This looks exactly like the Red-banded Hairstreak that is in my butterfly book, but it says that it is found in "Southeastern states only." The only other close one that I could find is the Common Gray Hairstreak, but its markings are slightly different than this one. This butterfly has a blueish spot between the two black spots at the bottom of the wing like the Red-banded.
