Flower Longhorn - Xestoleptura octonotata

Flower Longhorn - Xestoleptura octonotata
Boxborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
June 16, 2005
Size: 10mm
There were 4 species of Flower longhorns in the same flowering plant. Any help on identifying this one would be great.

Xestoleptura octonata, I think
Looks like Xestoleptura octonata, Yanega, fig. 94, plate 9, descr. p. 43. Says it is 11-14 mm, larvae feed on oak. (1)

Neat, I'd like to see that one! Brimley (2) mentions it only in the mountains down here.

Thanks Patrick
It may have been over 10mm, because it was larger than the other species of flower longhorns it was next to.

Note my misspelling
Note that I misspelled the species name in my comment to your image. I corrected the guide page, so all should be OK.
