June Bug - Serica

June Bug - Serica
Boxborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
June 16, 2005
Size: 8mm
Is this a Diplotaxis species?

Serica sp.
The ovoid shape and 'confused' rows of punctures on the elytra should point this out.

Thanks Phillip
I keep looking for scarabs, remembering you said there are 2 other kinds up here that aren't in the guide yet. If you can put up with a few repeats, sooner or later I'll get them.
