this one is Stilbosis--it seemed like a recent mine, but I probably still missed it. I saw no others like it.

Moved from Unidentified Leaf Mines.

A parasitoid just emerged from one of the mines, but I just found an intact moth pupa in the crumpled-up tissue...

Wow!! That is great news. I hope there's a chance the adult could emerge... But if the adult never comes out, is it possible (or useful) to keep it for barcoding purposes? I have no idea if barcoding is possible in this group...

 
It is certainly possible
but perhaps unlikely that it is a species that has been barcoded.

 
Adult
Terry Harrison just dissected the adult that emerged. It is a male, and it does not match any described North American species. There are other Stilbosis species described from the Neotropics without host information, so those will have to be checked to make sure it is truly undescribed.
