Very small beetle at lights - Ataenius imbricatus

Very small beetle at lights - Ataenius imbricatus
Near Ruraldale, Upshur County, West Virginia, USA
July 17, 2006
Size: 4.1 mm
At first glance I thought Trogidae, but quickly switched to thinking Scarabaeidae, Aphodiinae and perhaps Ataenius sp.

And then there's the mite to ID...

A. imbricatus
remarkably clear shot

Thanks, v and Phillip, it is good to get an ID on this nice beetle.
