Sorry, but this is definitely not Alcathoe caudata. I believe that it is a grape boring clearwing in the genus Vitacea based upon the male coloration, date and location of photo. I will discuss with other experts-Bill.

This is most likely Vitacea polistiformis (Graperoot Borer) according the Tom Eichlin.
