Langessa nomophilalis - Female

Size: ~11 mm TL
Found at Kirkland Hammock Primitive Camp. According to MONA Fascicle 13-1A (Munroe, 1972), the almost all black individuals within this species are female. Also note the simple antenna compared to the serrate antenna of the male. Compare to image of male found at the same location on the same evening:
