I meant once identified
I’m always happy to provide and confirm identifications, so do add anything you’re not certain about to family, order, etc. I meant that it saves me time when I can comment on an image and let the contributor move it based on my identification.

Or did you mean that don’t know when to trust identifications provided by others? I don’t mind reviewing images you submit even after someone else has commented. Not all identifications people provide are correct or reliable, of course. However, I’d appreciate it if you moved your images once I’ve commented on them. I am the main identifier and curator of moths on BugGuide, so I’ll be the one to identify a large portion of the images you submit. You won’t get any identifications better than mine on BugGuide.
