Hodges #0317 - Speckled Xylesthia Moth - Xylesthia pruniramiella
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
November 16, 2021
Size: Forewing ≈6mm
At outdoor light. By my judgment this is a badly worn 0317 Xylesthia pruniramiella (I am surprised it is able to fly). I would appreciate confirmation or comment. Thank you

Yes, a battered Xylesthia

Thanks, Blocky
Yes, it's battered, and I am sure it's a pruniramiella. I was tempted to frass this poor thing but for Florida there's in BugGuide no late-in-the-year record of this species.
