The alternative would be an unmarked
Ceraeochrysa lineaticornis
(scapes aren't cylindrical enough for
Meleoma signoretti
, though it can also be found in Massachusetts). I'm not seeing the small black spots on the pronotum that should occur in
Chrysopa nigricornis
, and my impression is that the scapes are a bit more elongate. If you have anything showing the full antennal length, that would be a reliable diagnostic between the two.
