Resin Bee - Anthidiellum notatum

Resin Bee - Anthidiellum notatum
Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA
June 17, 2005
Sorry, but this is all I could get before it flew away. It's fairly small...as this was a dandelion.

Moved

Bee.
This is actually one of the resin bees in the family Megachilidae. At that size it is probably a species of Anthidiellum. In fact....I just found an image on the Florida bee ID site! It is.....Anthidiellum notatum notatum:-)
