Caradrina montana? - Caradrina

Caradrina montana? - Caradrina
Glendale, Queens County, New York, USA
August 16, 2021

Moved
Moved from Butterflies and Moths. The irregular ST line on this moth appears more typical of Caradrina clavipalpis and Caradrina multifera, which are both probably more likely in your area than montana. Under clavipalpis at Moth Photographers Group, it says clavipalpis and multifera are difficult to differentiate without examination of genitalia.
