GA February Gray Hairstreak - Strymon melinus

GA February Gray Hairstreak - Strymon melinus
Chickasawhatchee WMA, Dougherty County, Georgia, USA
February 1, 2022
I was continuing with monarch monitoring.
It is unusual and interesting to have monarch butterflies in inland southwest Georgia away from the coast during winter.

Anyway, a Gray Hairstreak and Black Swallowtail were unexpected and difficult to photograph.
I also briefly saw a Common Buckeye and a small/medium sulphur I could not identify.
