Size: 1mm
I found dozens of these small beetle like bugs on strawberry plants today. They hop around and are almost too small to see with the naked eye. They have one small dot on each side of the tear shaped abdomen. The white material the bug is sitting on is a paper towel. These were found in a controlled environment greenhouse.

My understanding is that springtails eat decaying organic matter and are not plant pests. You can read about them here.
