Springtails
Dallas, Gaston County, North Carolina, USA

I found these last year, there were hundreds of them on a tree in my yard after it rained. I’ve never seen them congregate like this before although I have seen photos of this. Not sure if the pics are good enough to be identified though.

Hypogastruridae
Typically in Hypogastruridae, mass aggregations of many specimens can be observed.
