According to Dr. Buck...
...C. fumipennis has whitish, not yellow, markings. See his comment here. The markings on this one look yellow to me--or maybe that's just my old eyes. :)

It's odd that he would say that after placing so many images of them with yellowish markings. Perhaps he meant to say "on specimens of this species...".
I suspect that he believes that some individuals, (like her) have too much coloring on the rims of the abdominal segments or the legs or that maybe the wings are not dark enough.
However, I will definitely double-check these from now on and put them to genus level, if it's questionable.
