Original description + Smithsonian type specimen page
The 1915 protologue for Ceresa occidentalis by W. D. Funkhouser appears here, and Figs. 7-10 here illustrate "lateral, cephalic, and dorsal views" and "last ventral segment of the female". The description indicates the type was a female with length 6.5 mm; width 3.6 mm.

The Smithsonian type specimen page for Ceresa occidentalis is here shows the same images as above...but adds no more info than already here (except for a label image with a date reading "WDFunkhouser Collection 1962"...which is puzzling, as the protologue indicates the type was a female collected by E.O. Essig before the 1915 publication date!).
