Explanation of Names
Opsigalea ocellata (Walker, 1865) is now recognized within the North American fauna, specimens from Arizona identified by Noel McFarland going back to at least 2009.
Range
USA: southwestern AZ.
Type locality: "Oajaca, Mexico".
See Also
Opsigalea blanchardi is smaller, FWL = ~17 vs. ~23 mm for ocellata.
