As I was walking home with my camera after an afternoon of shooting, a neighbor asked me if I knew what this funny-looking bug was. She was pointing to the top of the left front tire of her car. I bent over and looked and told her it was some kind of caterpillar, then I took some shots. Neither of us had any idea how it got on top of the tire. Perhaps the bag dropped from inside the wheel well onto the tire (?).
