This is actually an aderid. I'm guessing it's probably Emelinus. Perhaps my friend Nicolas or Don Chandler will be able to put a species name on it.

Far out!
This is a way cool bug! Very Megacerus-like save for the abdomen... Sure had me fooled! Yes, Emelinus, they are the only members of the fam with "flabellate" ant (1), though to me they look more pectinate. Thanks much! Mike
