Araneus diadematus? - Araneus diadematus - male

Araneus diadematus? - Araneus diadematus - Male
Mountain View, Santa Clara County, California, USA
August 3, 2008
Size: ~ 1 cm
I found this spider under a flower at the edge of a vertical orb web. Caught, photographed and released this spider back onto it's web. I'm pretty sure this is A. diadematus?
