Found in a marshy area on the side of the Sunset Bay pier at White Rock lake. Only shot I could get. Adding less cropped shot for size perspective.

Looks like...
That is probably a Black-bordered Lemon Moth, Marimatha nigrofimbria. It's a pretty common species in the eastern range. I don't think that we need the second shot.

It is a new moth for me, figured it was a lemon something or other, lol. To be honest, I also gave you the 2nd shot just to show it looks much better that way. It is difficult for me to just leave a horrible looking photo when I know my original composition looks much better but I understand what you need to see also. I'm always fine with anything you want to frass.
