saw flying, reddish wings in flight. Landed on Eucalyptus tree.

The feet are different...
so after a little looking I think you may have an Australian Tortoise Beetle (
Trachymela sloanei
).
Also note that the Eucalyptus tree info helped greatly in IDing this one.
