Moth ID? - Ecliptopera silaceata

Is there a word for the abdomen curved up? Does anyone know the function of this posture? Do they fly in this posture, or merely lounge like this? Is it a habit of particular species or families?

Ecliptopera silaceata
See Small Phoenix.

The genus Eulithis in the same subfamily (Larentiinae) usually has a more pronounced curve than this; some examples. Besides Geometridae, a recurved abdomen appears in representatives of families such as Limacodidae, Erebidae, and Crambidae among others.

Thanks
Thanks once again, Robin!
