Abstract

Agrilus brattaini Wellso & Manley new species, similar in appearance to Agrilus mimosae Fisher, and Anthaxia (Haplanthaxia) caseyi williambarri Wellso new subspecies, both from Texas, are described herein. Agrilus chihuahuae Cazier is recorded for the first time from the USA. Additional state and larval host records are presented for other Buprestidae in the genera Acmaeodera, Buprestis, Chrysobothris, Paragrilus, Paratyndaris, Polycesta, and Taphrocerus.
