No, I didn't get any right facing images but Steve should be able to easily flip the images. If not, please let me know & I will flip and upload. I just read Steve's criteria for images on another thread so I will change my ways accordingly. :-)

It's probably something in Loxostege, possibly Loxostege terpnalis. We don't have any live images yet, but BOLD has a few specimens here.

I reviewed the description and images in MONA Fascicle 13.2a and think you have probably solved this one Bob. Note the deep tooth of the PM line just before the inner margin. It matches with the images in the fascicle. The fascicle also says it most resembles kearfottalis, but has gray forewings and no brown basally. The fascicle reports the range to be Nevada and eastern Inyo County, CA. Inyo County is where this moth was found. I have created a species page for terpnalis if you decide it should be moved there.
