My first butterfly -- an Eastern tailed blue? - Cupido comyntas - female

My first butterfly -- an Eastern tailed blue? - Cupido comyntas - Female
Richmond, Chesterfield County, Virginia, USA
June 16, 2005
Size: about an inch
Most moths don't mind sitting for a portrait. It seems one has to work a little harder to catch up with butterflies. I really hoped this picture would come out clearer. I also hoped the zoom in would catch the little identifying tail. It didn't. Or maybe I have the species wrong.
