Dusky/Ashy
Definitely an Ashy or Dusky Clubtail, but I'm not comfortable IDing it for sure with this pic. The thoracic pattern looks better for Ashy, but the abdominal pattern leans toward Dusky. The terminal appendages are equivocal in this view, I think, although I lean toward saying the epiproct is wider than the cerci as in Dusky. If I had to ID it, I would say Ashy because I've never seen the Z-shaped frontal thoracic stripes on a Dusky (but I bet it's within the realm of variation).

probably Ashy
The angle's a bit off on the appendages to be entirely sure, but I'm fairly sure they match Ashy (G. lividus).

Shouldn't Ashy have a triangu
Shouldn't Ashy have a triangular spot on S8?

Larry

Thanks.
