Cylindrical Bark Beetle on stump - Microprius rufulus

Cylindrical Bark Beetle on stump - Microprius rufulus
Fresno, Fresno County, California, USA
April 5, 2022
Size: 3mm
I took a single, quick photo of this beetle for my iNaturalist page and quickly collected it before it went down a crack in a stump in my backyard. I had seen this same beetle type (maybe same individual) 48hr earlier, but had not collected it. The initial ID on iNaturalist is Colydiinae.

On https://cerambycids.com/ironcladid/IroncladID-Bitoma.html it mentions antennal groove differences between Bitoma and Microprius. I can get additional photos if necessary.

Enclosed Dorsal, Ventral, "lateral" views on both gray and white background. Plus, hopefully, the view of antennal groove. As well as blurry photo of the live beetle on the stump (which can be frassed).
