Gelechioid - Hypatopa? - Hypatopa

Gelechioid - Hypatopa? - Hypatopa
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
April 4, 2022
Size: Forewing 5-6mm
At outdoor light in the evening. A gelechioid conundrum: I did not expect finding a good match in MPG so quickly but the matching species would be way out of range here in North Florida. Yet, I still wonder whether my moth can join BugGuide's "tentative" Hypatopa vestaliella. Did I misse some other more appropriate match? (It does not look to be the more southern relative 1208 H. punctiferella)

Wild guess
Perhaps 1214 Hypatopa spretella - shown in MPG, without inmages, as a North Florida species.

Moved
Moved from Butterflies and Moths. Some other species, I think

I wished I had caught and kept it
Thank you Aaron. This genus appears to largely be a "museum genus," #1214 H. spretella being the only one shown for North Florida on the MPG map.
