Size: 30-40mm
2nd specimen of c-pillar feeding on Native Cotton, Gossypium thurberi. I looked through food plants of leps web site and various books I have without success, assuming this c-pillar is monophagous on cotton, I'm at a loss. ID help would be appreciated.

How about Lirimiris truncata [ MONA 8027 ]
Southeastern Arizona Moths has a last instar --- Singer Photo
and lists as Foodplant:
Gossypium thuerberi (MALVACEAE)

I'm surprised
you found this! I went to websites and books looking for any moths that fed on Gossypium and none suggested this guy - wow! I'm really impressed. Thanks also for the ID of Cargida - looks like you got that one too.
